Mastering Patient Communication in Presbyopia Correction: The Do’s and Don’ts

In this course, Dr. Andrea Janeková explores the pivotal role of communication in achieving successful outcomes with presbyopia-correcting simultaneous vision (SV) intraocular lenses (IOLs). She emphasizes that patient satisfaction depends not only on technology, but also on effective expectation management, transparency, and personalized counselling. Through practical insights and case-based examples, the course provides strategies to align treatment choices with patient lifestyle, support shared decision-making, and reduce the risk of postoperative dissatisfaction.
