Medical Education Manager, U.S.

Overview: The Fundingsland Group (TFG) is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Medical Education Manager to join our team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Development: Lead the creation and execution of annual education plans in collaboration with internal teams, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and society partners, focusing on innovative content and impactful strategies.
  • Grant Management: Spearhead the assembly and management of large medical education grants, designing objectives based on clinical trends and ensuring alignment with educational needs and funding parameters.
  • Program Execution: Oversee the end-to-end implementation of CME and CE symposia, including agenda setting, faculty coordination, and content development, aimed at shifting clinical practices and improving patient outcomes.
  • Content Creation: Direct the production of on-demand educational materials, such as video interviews, eLearning courses, and podcasts, ensuring they meet educational objectives and reach target audiences effectively.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain active communication with CME/CE partners, industry stakeholders, and KOLs to foster relationships and secure funding, while also supporting program accreditation processes.
  • Outcome Assessment: Develop and implement robust outcome assessment plans to measure program effectiveness and inform future educational strategies.

Travel Requirements:

  • Approximately 25%-30% travel, including potential international trips and attendance at major conferences.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in life sciences, healthcare, education, or related field; advanced degrees (PhD, OD) preferred.
  • Experience in medical education, clinical affairs, or related healthcare industry role.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and strategic planning skills.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously. Project management skills, with PMP or similar certification beneficial.
  • Knowledge of compliance and regulatory standards in CME and industry-funded programs.
  • Understanding of current ophthalmology and optometry field preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills for data analysis of educational outcomes and clinical research.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Proficient in eLearning platforms and digital education technologies.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and comfort working independently.
  • Flexibility with work hours, acknowledging the variable nature of project deadlines.

Compensation and Benefits: The salary range for this position is $105,000-115,000 annually. The hiring salary will vary depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. Base pay is one part of the total compensation package available, which includes:
