Dr. Lisa Nijm, an MD/JD, stands as an internationally distinguished corneal, cataract, and refractive surgeon. As the founder of Warrenville EyeCare & LASIK, her multifaceted expertise as a licensed attorney, innovator, and advisor for pharmaceutical and medical device companies has shaped her pivotal role in the field.

Currently serving as the Chief Medical Advisor for TruKera Medical and contributing to the Medical Advisory Board for Amring Pharmaceuticals, Dr. Nijm’s influence extends beyond clinical practice. She is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at the esteemed University of Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary and holds key positions on the board of directors for the Cornea Society and the American Academy of Ophthalmology Executives (AAOE). In addition, she spearheads Women in Ophthalmology (WIO) as its CEO, where her strategic guidance has propelled the organization into a phase of exponential growth.
